fork those fancy equipments, noone can stop me from making hummus 😤

PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES

YIELDS: 2 SERVINGS

INGREDIENTS

BASE

  • 1 (200GRAM) CAN chickpea

  • 2 -3TEASPOONS chickpea juice or tahini

  • 1 clove of garlic, minced

  • 2 TEASPOONS olive oil

  • 1 TEASPOON lemon juice

  • pinch of salt

  • 1 TEASPOON paprika powder, chili powder, or curry powder

STEPS

  1. POUR CHICKPEA JUICE INTO ONE CONTAINER AND POUR THE CHICKPEAS INTO A MICROWAVE-SAVE BOWL. 

  2. MICROWAVE THE CHICKPEAS FOR 30 SECONDS ON 600WATTS.

  3. USE CLEAN HANDS TO TAKE OFF CHICKPEA SHELL AND THEN MASH THEM WITH A FORK.

  4. POUR IN GARLIC, OLIVE OIL, LEMON JUICE AND SALT IN THE MASHED CHICKPEAS AND STIR WELL.

  5. IF THE CONSISTENCY IS TOO THICK, POUR 1 TEASPOON OF CHICKPEA JUICE AND MIX. REPEAT UNTIL THE RIGHT CONSISTENCY. IT IS POSSIBLE TO SWAP CHICKPEA JUICE FOR TAHINI.

  6. ADD IN MORE SALT OR LEMON JUICE IF NEED BE.

  7. SPRINKLE PAPRIKA POWDER OVER THE TOP AND ENJOY!
