MICROWAVE POACHED EGGS

INGREDIENTS​

  • â…“ CUP water

  • egg

STEPS

  1. POUR WATER INTO A MICROWAVE-SAFE MUG.

  2. CRACK AN EGG INTO THE MUG.

  3. COVER THE MUG WITH A PLATE.

  4. MICROWAVE ON HIGH (700-900W) FOR 30 SECONDS. TAKE THE MUG OUT TO SEE IF THE EGG WHITE IS SOLID. IF NEEDED, PUT THE MUG BACK IN FOR ANOTHER 30 SECONDS. IT COULD NEED EXTRA 5 SECONDS WITH ALMOST NO WATER WATER IF THERE IS JUST A LITTLE BIT OF UNCOOKED EGG WHITE (BUT THE EGG YOLK BY NOW IS OF THE CONSISTENCY OF A SOFT BOILED EGG SO ONLY MICROWAVE A LITTLE BIT MORE).

  5. SCOOP POACHED EGG OUT WITH A SPOON AND SERVE!

tip: to heat up your food evenly, make a well in the middle of the plate (like a donut) so that theres more surface area to heat up the food!
