🥓BLT PASTA SALAD🥬

🍅a well-balanced diet ;) 🥗

PREP TIME: 15 MINUTES

COOK TIME: UNDER 10 MINUTES

TOTAL TIME: 55 MINUTES

YIELDS: 1 SERVING

INGREDIENTS

  • ~100GRAMS small pasta, rigate or farfalle (most recommended)

  • a few ice cubes 

  • 1/4 CUP bacon, crisped

  • 1/3 CUP tomato, halved

  • 1/2 CUP romain lettuce, chopped

  • 1/4 CUP mozarella balls or mozarella diced (optional, but very recommended)

SAUCE

(fast version)

  • 2 TABLESPOONS extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 TEASPOON honey

  • pinch of salt and pepper

(I have more time version)

  • mayonnaise

  • olive oil

  • garlic powder (or fresh garlic, finely diced)

  • onion powder (or fresh onion, finely diced)

  • pinch of salt and pepper

STEPS

  1. POUR SALT INTO WATER AND WAIT FOR THE WATER TO BOIL BEFORE PUTTING THE PASTA IN. SET THE TIMER BASED ON THE PACKAGING OF THE PASTA AND STIR THEM AROUND EVERY SO OFTEN UNTIL THEY ARE AL DENTE (TO THE TOOTH: NOT TOO SOFT, NOT TOO HARD, BUT JUUUUUST RIGHT). DRAIN AND PUT A SOME ICE CUBES INTO THE PASTA, DON'T RINSE THEM TO COOL DOWN!

  2. MIX ALL INGREDIENTS FOR THE DRESSING IN A SMALL BOWL

  3. TOSS ALL THE REST OF THE SALAD INGREDIENTS ONTO YOUR PLATE (OR INTO A SALAD BOWL) AND POUR DRESSING INTO SALAD. GIVE IT A GOOD MIX AND ENJOY!
